Many people have this idea that daily blogging is going to magically make them a large amount of money. It is assumed you can / will make a significant amount of money from blogging by talking about nothing. Given the fact that most people hear stories about some elite individuals who make a healthy amount of money from blogging ( :cough: Darren :cough:), I can understand why people believe this myth.




There are many different ways to monetize your blog, but I want to focus on people who launch blogs and use one of many available scripts or plug-ins to auto-create the content on their blog. I can understand ( and possibly appreciate) the concept behind this marketing method. If you are making one dollar a day off a blog and you launch another 1,000 blogs and replicate that, you will make $1,000 / day.

I am in the midst of testing a couple of autoblogs myself, so it is a bit too early to post my results yet, but I will say that there is a significant amount of content on these blogs. Whether or not the traffic increases, which could lead to an increase in the sites performance is another question.

Only time will tell. What are your thoughts?
