I bought a nifty eBay film prop paper replica that someone created with photoshop. Now, the original seller doesn’t sell it anymore when it can just as easily be photocopied and re-sold.

It is against eBay law to photocopy this and sell copies of it to people? I’d be more than willing to say that I am not the original creator of the replica but that I’d like to offer it for sale to anyone else who might be interested in getting a copy of it.
Unethical, probably, but will I lose eBay points or status by doing this?

no, you can basically sell anything on ebay. as long as you dont give the buyers an impression that its the real one, then your fine. inform that it is a photocopy just to make sure you dont loose points. etc
