Hi, I’m finding it difficult to find a job right now, so was thinking of selling some paintings I’ve done on ebay, to earn a bit of cash.
I’m not sure what the copyright rules are here though. They’re copies I’ve done of other people’s pictures (think pop art mainly), but because I painted them by hand they’re not perfect replicas. Can I still sell them, so long as I clearly state they’re my own reproductions, and who the originals were done by, or is selling them at all copyright infringement?
Thanks in advance!

Rule No1.
If the painting you are selling is yours and hand-made by you and you only and you sell it as it is (no copies) that’s fine. You cannot sell copies of an original painting once the original is sold. Against the law to do so.
Rule No2.
If you have made an original painting, yourself and not sold it - and made copies of it, that’s fine. You sell the copies and keep the original.

I’m pretty sure that it’s not copyright as long as you painted it and did not trace it in anyway, Good luck!
