You may call them replicas, but the real name for them is illegal counterfeits. Would you sell counterfeit money saying you are doing people a service because they can’t always get real money froma bank? Of course not, I’m sure you realize that’s illegal. The selling of counterfeit designer goods is no different, it’s illegal. If people can’t afford the real thing then they should buy what they can afford. You are feeding off of people’s insecurities, making them think that a designer tag on a bag or a necklace somehow makes it better. It doesn’t. You are quite fortunate that e-bay hasn’t done more than just cancel your auctions. You could wind up in a lot more hint-of-legal menace type trouble. Chanel.com has a page to report anyone selling “replicas” so legal action may be taken against them.
